Custom Chart-Plotter Cover

Objective: Design/fabricate a new cover for a wall-mounted navigational chart plotter to protect it from harmful environmental damage over time.

Situation: Wall-mounted Furuno chart plotter OEM cover damaged/destroyed over the years of use. Due to the age of the product, the manufacturer (including third-party suppliers) no longer sells replacement covers.

Solution: Design replacement using CAD per OEM design with customer-requested additions/changes.

Result: Final design fits customer requirements and OEM design specifications.
